First of all, when asking for a quote on hair implants, it is essential and should be required that both the number of follicular units and hair to be transplanted appear. This amount depends both on the capacity of the donor area (nape and sides) and the needs of each person.
Also, it is important that you choose a clinic in which it is the surgeons who perform the intervention and not auxiliaries, (as is the case in the vast majority of hair clinics), which is totally prohibited.
The surgeons are responsible for extracting the follicles from the donor area and making all the incisions where the follicular units will be implanted, taking into account the appropriate inclination, direction and density to obtain completely natural aesthetic results. It is the Doctor’s signature.
Therefore, it is very important to consider this determining factor when comparing budgets. Generally, prices that are too low are calculated on the assumption that the doctor does NOT perform the operation but technicians (who may be in training). So, although it considerably reduces the price, it also influences the final aesthetic results.

It’s necessary to evaluate if a hair transplant operation is really needed, in which case we have a special promotion option for obtaining satisfactory density at the temple area.

One session of 1,500 to 2,000 hair implants (3,300 to 4,400 hairs), for a satisfactory result.
case 3:
One session of 2,500 to 3,000 hair implants (5,500 to 6,600 hairs) depending on the area to be covered.

First of all; To be able to cover the entire upper part of the head with hair implants, it would be necessary to place at least 8,000 follicular units (approximately 17,600 hairs). Prices for hair implants in Spain usually range from 1000 to 9000 Euros (sometimes the price can go up to more than 12,000 Euros) depending on the clinics and the experience of the surgeons who perform the operations.
Generally, new clinics and doctors with little experience tend to offer relatively cheap prices to attract many patients and thus gain experience. The price is attractive (between 1000 and 2500 Euros) but the drawback is that the people who operate have little experience or are not doctors (they are technicians).
Surgeons who have experience usually charge between 2900 and 9000 Euros depending on the number of hair transplants they have to extract and implant and also the fixed expenses they have. A clinic with expensive furniture, well decorated, in a neighborhood in an uptown area requires a significant investment and a fairly high fixed expense. But be careful with this, a nice clinic is not significant of good results or that the doctor has experience. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving.
What is totally normal and perfectly understandable is that a doctor with a lot of experience charges more than one who has less. Isn’t it true that if you are one of the oldest in your job and have a lot of experience, you are going to ask for a salary increase? Or will you ask to be paid more than others who have fewer years of experience?
There are also clinics that offer fixed prices (usually 2990 Euros) regardless of the amount of follicle it is.
Many times they are clinics in which the people who operate are not surgeons or that the doctor simply supervises the operations and lets hair technicians do the work.
It is also important to note that the cost to perform a small operation is not the same as for a large one. The number of hours, material and medical fees are not the same either. Normally the price of a hair implant of small or medium amount of hair transplants ranges between 2500 and 4000 Euros when the price of a large one would be from 4000 to 9000 Euros.
Our advice is to choose a clinic in which a surgeon specialized exclusively in hair transplantation is the one who performs the intervention and who charge between 2500 and 9000 Euros per operation.
