What is a hair transplant?

A hair transplant is a very simple procedure.

Hair transplantation or hair grafting, as it is also known, is a technique that allows you to recover part of the hair lost due to some type of alopecia.

It is necessary to perform a hair examination during which specialists can analyze its viability and suitability based on the patient’s characteristics.

In the operation, the surgeon extracts the hair follicles from the donor part of the head for subsequent implantation in the recipient area.

The follicles, or more colloquially, the hair, due to its genetic programming, always continue to grow, therefore, the treatment is long-lasting and the result is natural and definitive.

The follicles are inserted respecting the same angle and direction of the original hair , achieving a totally natural and aesthetic look.

The success of this type of intervention can be seen with the before and after of numerous patients who have already trusted us and have undergone the FUE technique to recover their hair.

The second condition is that the patient has a good donor area that allows the extraction of enough follicles to be able to fill the area with hair deficiency.

What should you be worried about?

Hair transplantation must be done by a surgeon

and a very experienced and highly skilled team, otherwise there are many factors that can affect the success of your intervention. With our professionals and thanks to the techniques we use, you will get a totally natural-looking result.

Both the technique of extraction of the follicular units

as well as the conservation and care of them, before being implanted are essential for the survival of all follicular units.

When will I be able to return to work after surgery?

As it is a minimally invasive procedure, the patient can return to their normal life the day after finishing the intervention. Of course, if you can do so, it is advisable to have between four and seven days of rest to be able to take care of the intervened area in detail. This aspect will be determined jointly with the surgeon.

Hair transplantation is a minimally invasive procedure that is usually performed in a single day and does not require hospital admission. I mean; You go in and out of the hair clinic on the same day.

Do you have any questions?

A hair transplant involves removing hair from the donor area (sides and nape of the neck) and transplant them into the recipient area (area with capillary deficiency). To perform a hair transplant it is necessary to have a good knowledge of the different hair transplant techniques (FUE, Sapphire, DHI,…) and above all, that it is a doctor who performs the intervention and not assistants or hair technicians.

Go ahead and contact us. We will be happy to inform you about the different techniques available to you in our clinic.
